Everybody knows the risks of developing real estate. Risks inherent to development include the hazards of permitting, construction and the market. But not everyone comprehensively evaluates the risks of real estate outside of the development process. A more comprehensive identification of real estate risk will lead to more thoughtful allocation and mitigation of that risk. .
